Boiler servicing takes between 30 and 90 minutes depending on the make, model, age and how long since it was last serviced.

• Our engineers inspect your boiler and controls to check everything is operating safely.
• The inspection will include checking corrosion and leaks.
• The boiler casing and combustion cover will be removed to check main parts working correctly.
• A flue gas analyser will ensure that no unsafe emissions are being released.
• A burner pressure test will be completed for safe and working order of appliance and efficiency.
• A let by and tightness test will be carried out to ensure that there are no gas leaks throughout the property.
• The boiler’s parts will be cleaned where necessary.
• When the service is complete, the casing will be put back on and properly sealed.
• A CP12 will be issued on completion of a full service with a flue gas analyser report attached.

Yes. All of our plumbing and heating engineers are Gas Safe registered. All of our engineers carry ID cards, that inform on which appliances they are allowed to work on.

This usually means there is air trapped at the top of your radiator and it is stopping any more hot water filling the radiator. You can bleed the radiator to rectify the problem. Release the air by opening the small square peg at the top of the radiator, this will allow the air to hiss out. Hold a cloth and bowl close to the square peg. When water comes out the air should have gone. If the problem continues to occur contact LDC Heating and we can check the central heating system for any faults or problems.
